i have garmin express running on

Lenovo P51 (Windows 10 Pro) - no issues
HP Pavilion (Windows 10 Home) - error with almost every restart / shutdown

I dont know if it has something to do with the version of Windows 10 ut that is noticeably different... Hope this reaches Garmin. I filed a Support ticket for this

Quick one: Does it happen when you shutdown/restart with any of your Garmin devices connected, or regardless of it?

I did not witness this behaviour myself before, on any previous version I've had.

without... Actually they are not connected to the new GaArmin Express (will do this weekend).
Dont use garmin express much - all devices connect through wifi - only use it for huge updates such as card material

I have the same error on every restart with the latest Garmin Express and also all latest Windows 10 Pro updates available till today. Any solution out there?

Same problem here at each shutdown or reboot.
Looks like the problem is corrected when you remove the Garmin Express background task.
Go to Garmin Express, choose Parameters, then in General, uncheck background task.

Reboot...You may still have the problem at this reboot, but after that, I got no more error from Express.exe

I'm having the same issue when shutting down Windows. I've had this couple of days. I believe it has to be due to some Windows update because there has not been any express updates lately. Anyway, I think Garmin should address this issue.
