Cannot update map - not enough space - contact support

Hi,

I have a DriveSmart LMT50. Now, while updating the map using Garmin Express, it shows the message. The new map has so much information, it cannot fit in the device. Please contact device support. It does not give any option to insert the SD card. I also tried inserting an SD card, but still the same message. Please help is appreciated.

North America map. The device connected to the PC shows 468 kb free of 7.02 GB. While updating, it shows the updates are available: Full Coverage of North America Version: 2021.30 File Size: 7.09 GB. But upon proceeding, the message appears: The latest software does not fit you device's internal memory. Please contact Product Support for help with updating your software. There is a "Contact Us" link which opens the generic Garmin support page. No other options are available.

See this thread for more help and if the steps there don't help contact Product Support for more detailed help. Given the free space available that is probably your issue forums.garmin.com/.../nuvi-66lt-won-t-update
