Garmin Express not logging into account

Hi everyone,

Have a new laptop, dell xps 13 running windows 10 and all up to day (garmin express is up to date too). Today I wanted to sync my recent activities on this new laptop (had never done it before) but software gets stuck at point where I should log in to my account (same happens if I want to create a new account).

Below is a screen shot of where I am stuck at. Could there be windows add-ins that the garmin express software relies on to perform this?
