i am trying to connect my garmin forerunner 235. my desktop garmin express is saying there is an error in syncing with garmin connect.
what can i do to resolve this?
i have tried the uninstall, it is the most updated express version

Former Member, try a manual upload directly to Garmin Connect Web. That will at least tell you if there are corrupt files on the device.
If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. In that case, please zip the file and attach it to this thread. We can look at it to see what might be wrong.
thank you for this. i am trying to get the updates to install on my forerunner that are available but thats when i get the error. should i follow these steps?
Yes, I would make sure everything is synced, then delete the FIT files within the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder. Then restart your forerunner and try to do the updates with Garmin Express again. If after that it still doesn't work, then consider doing a factory reset of your watch.
