"No Data Available" for several days

3 or 4 times recently after syncing my vivoactive I'm seeing "No Data Available" for Step Details in Garmin Connect Mobile. The data is also absent from the web using Garmin Connect. It seems to happen in pairs of days. It doesn't sync activities, sleep or anything else.

It's possible it only happens when I sync using the USB cradle and my Windows PC. I'm certain that's how I did the sync the last two times I saw the issue but am not sure about the time or two before that.

The watch shows the steps and activities so it must be sync issue.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be happening?

Is there a way to force a resync of the data for the missing days?

    I'm having the same issue. Have you found a solution? Pretty frustrating.

    Mine will sync HR but nothing else. And while there is definitely data on the watch going back a week, there are large chunks of time on the app and website that won't upload and it just blank.

    Activities for 2017 not syncing garmin connect vivosmart hr

    My vivoactive hr is not syncing any activities on garmin connect since Jan 1 2017. They show in the history on the vivosmart but won't sync to calendar or activities. Also tried uploading on laptop to garmin express with USB. The only .fit files are for dec 2016 and there is no garmin/history folder
