It installed and is running fine on my Win7 SP1 x64 box but

• it displayed the "send anonymous data to Garmin" tickbox even though I've said no before!
• it showed the "startup" screen even though I always disable it.

Evidently "no" doesn't mean no to Garmin. Perhaps a "hell no I will NEVER want this" tickbox should be added.

We have a case open for this. I apologize for the trouble. You are however running okay?

Yes. Sorry for ranting. It reminds me of teenagers. The girl says "Don't! Stop! but what the boy hears is "Don't stop!" :D

Just installed, running OK, but the PRINT SCRN button has been disabled. Why? I think I've been able to do print screens before. I have my tracks on the map and I like to save them to the folder containing photos of my hike, paddle, etc. Went to a different program and it worked fine.

Uninstall and re-install took care of it.

You can see from the attachment below Basecamp has issue with windows 8 magnification settings. The words 'My Collection' are half covered. Mousing over items in the left list has interesting results. Look where the mouse pointer is. The folder and text for 'Dest Highways Washington' are shrunken??

Use the Print Screen button with the ALT button held down. That works and places the screen capture into the Clipboard.
• I posted the update on my Dutch FB-page (https://www.facebook.com/mrgpsnl/posts/642639492492071) and have multiple install error reports within one hour.

Most concern the missing MSVCR90.dll error, but I also see 'runtime error' basecamp.exe R6034

Might be a 'local/language' issue?? Would advise to wait with auto-update.

Continuing issues with 4.3.2 and Windows 8.1 which weren't an issue in 4.25. Basecamp loads but doesn't launch maximized even though the Windows controls in the upper right corner are indicating I'm running full screen. Feels like an issue with the Windows 8.1 magnification settings. If I hit "run down" in the upper right corner Basecamp moves on my screen, but does not change size. If I then hit "maximize" it fills the screen?? This Lenovo Carbon X1 has a quad HD display so I typically run in a slightly magnified more. Running in native resolution yields extremely small windows. Like a default Outlook window the size of a postage stamp. ;-)

Toggling between minimized and maximized a few times clears up the issue I described earlier with the shrinking folder and folder names in the left Library list.

Another issue. When I open <some> existing routes, possible from an early map version, and hit recalculate I get some very strange results from time to time. The route become longer with a side trip miles down a random road, then a U turn, then returns back and continues down the original route?? There are no waypoints or shaping points down this detour. Basecamp just decided to send me out and back down a road?? The "Curvy Roads" preference is NOT selected.

What is your screen resolution set to? Also could you e-mail that screen shot to [email protected] along with your explanation?
