I have used another sat image app

    Loves BC initiatives

Can anybody pse email me a link of a sample of
BC sat image file, they have downloaded
    Zip pse
    Don't think email will work

    from 20-100 mb is ok

Wants to plan up front before start my dl
    Wants to look at it

Can you dl different image qualities
    Can you choose
    Is it one big photo
    or
rather another Image file, with the tiles in it
    Like it is at present
Meaning dl is fast, with an image file with tiles in it

How fast is the dl max speed for dl from Birdseye

You download the imagery with Basecamp and can view it there. If you have a compatible GPS device, just connect it to your computer and choose the option to download Birdseye. It is free if you only want to use it in Basecamp, you only need to pay in order to use it on your GPS.

I can't see how to download Birds Eye for free to use just in Basecamp. Garmin web site asks for a subscription. My Nuvi 775 won't accept Birdseye but that is not a problem as I only want it on my PC

SANDIEGO69, you must own a Garmin handheld GPS that is capable of using BIrdseye, and you must connect it to your computer. Otherwise, you will not be able to download anything.

MAPWORM, I think it will be a waste of time for anyone to send you a BirdsEye sample. Based on posts here, the quality can be vastly different depending on where you are.

    No harm done
I just wanted to get a sample

Busy trying to decide how to build a grid
What tools is easy to use
What miles distance to use between the grids

    Has anybody got ideas
Wonder also what size file to expect from what mile grid block
    Are these images zoom able
Zoom in and out with the Street maps
Most importantly, what dl speeds are you getting

    thanx
