Please Help BaseCamp Application won't start

Hi
Don't know what to do now because I ran a disk clean up program called PC Care and I think it has done something to my BaseCamp program which was fine before that ~ now I am unable to start Basecamp as a window pops up and says'Basecamp Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you are in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost. So why do you think this is happening?
I have uninstalled the program and downloaded the new version but it still does the same thing ~ I have done a System Restore but it still doesn't work so any suggestions please as to why the Application won't open. I am using Windows XP
Otherwise how can I view my maps?

Thanks but there was nothing wrong with the pc at all until I ran a disk clean up program everything was ok and running just fine, I have just called Garmin and they are going to remotely access my pc and try and sort something out for me.

When uninstalling some programs, it's also recommended the application data associated with the program are deleted as well. In some situations this data are saved.To delete application data follow the steps below.
1.Open Windows Explorer.
2.Open the Documents and Settings folder.
3.Open the folder for the username you're logged into Windows as.
4.Open the Application Data folder. If you do not see this folder, it's likely because it's a hidden folder and you'll need to enable the option show hidden folders.
5.Delete the folder associated with Basecamp program.

Is your .NET Framework installed correctly ?

Thanks to Garmin it's all ok now, I phoned them this afternoon and he called me back at 2.30pm and took over my pc it was done in a few mins, I asked him what the problem was and he didn't really say just that it was ok now, I tried opening the program before he disconnected from my pc and it worked ok.
