Unfortunately it wasn't Garmin but Google who prevented this.
This isn't exactly true. Garmin could have done what my program does.
More info about BC2GE here:
Awful, it can’t even calculate a route.
I have a new computer, wait for hours to calculate a route then “There was an error calculating this route”. I am using open street maps for Europe
BC 4.7.4 works fine in creating a route. What specific map are you using?
I have OFM (EU2021-04-2021) Open Fiets Maps
Garmin Cycle Map: EU2020.10 North East and South West
It dosn't seem to work with any
I just created a route using Freizeitkart_GBR (Release 20.12) without a problem.
If you are new to BC you could try this tutorial www.newenglandriders.org/.../
What version were you using before?
It’s not likely that that broke with a minor change.
I have it on a Win10 machine, lifetime Europe maps; cannot say when it updated. Zumo XT loads quite well now though still unbearably slow to activate. Used for some unknown amount of time. The last day it has been crashing. FIrst with Windows Support message. Now just disappears. This happens primarily when Searching then selecting waypoints. First one is usually good, second; bye by Basecamp. Would love to revert back to 4.7.3 or 4.7.2 but there's too many sketchy sites out there.

Thanks Eyelet99 - I'll backout of 4.7.4 until I can use again. Hoping for a response from Garmin. This release was intended for bug fixes as well. : |
