Download current track

I want to download a current track from my Garmin GPSMAP 62 S into Basecamp but haven't been successful. I've read the manual but just can't get it. Can someone help? Thanks.

It is. Seems to be working now. I had been getting an error message saying it couldn’t download because of a problem with one of the geocaches I had on it. Resolved somehow. Thanks

You should be able to connect your device to your PC so it appears in the top left hand pane of BaseCamp. Is that happening?
