Unable to import AllData file after upgrading Windows

Upgraded OS from Win 7 to Win10. When trying to import my collection embedded in the AllData file, I get the error message "Version not supported". I've tried downgrading Basecamp with the same result. I've tried "cheating" the system by replacing the file in the Appdata/Roaming/Garmin/Basecamp/Database folder, but it is ignored. What to do?

I did that update (from Win7 to Win10) but didn't have an issue, you mention downgrading BaseCamp, which version were you running on Win7 and which one now? The 'version not supported' message occurred a few years ago when folks made quite a big jump in their BaseCamp version IIRC.

Yes, I read that thread. Wouldn't work for me. I downgraded 4.7 to one of the 4.6. AFTER having tried the normal import procedure AND the file replacement method described in the thread. Then I tried the same things again with the same result.

Are you sure then you're using the correct AllData file and not an old one that might have been hanging around on your PC from a much older database? Try doing a search for AllData.gdb on your PC and see if you have any other files with that name?
