Google Earth re-integrated in Basecamp 4.7.1?

Hi,
A bit surprised Google Earth was not available anymore from Basecamp 4.7.0... Can we expect an update and have Google Earth back in the menu?

The “API changed” excuse is kind of bogus.

My program doesn’t use the API.

And it works for any version of BaseCamp/Mapsource/Google Earth.

No, I've never claimed that. I'm still working with 4.6.2 for that very reason. If you want to upgrade though use dpawlyk's program posted above.

TekRider asks So are Windows/macOS users on 4.6.2 today able to use Basecamp v4.6.2 with the current version of Google Earth as of the date of this post?

Phil replies It does for me, on Win10, BC 4.6.2, and latest Google Earth.

TekRider then asks What version of Google Earth are you using?

I then respond Working for me on Win10, using Google Earth Pro 7.3.2.5776

So where is that unclear that the 3 of us are talking about 4.6.2? Incidentally you can always revert to 4.6.2 should you wish.
