I recently got a new computer and installed Basecamp 4.7 on it. I'm trying to install MyTrails (https://www.gpsfiledepot.com/maps/view/53/) and uttopo11 (https://www.gpsfiledepot.com/maps/view/513/) onto my etrex.
For some reason basecamp keeps only putting a partial install even though I've told it to do a full install. I've tried doing this multiple times on multiple computers now and it keeps doing the same thing. I deleted the maps in Windows Explorer and tried re-installing them as well as doing it through the Basecamp wizard.
I also did a hard reset on my etrex and that didn't change anything.
When I look at the .img files loaded onto the etrex in Windows Explorer they are significantly smaller than they should be. MyTrails is 90 KB but all the .img files are 24.1 MB and uttopo11 is 628 KB and it should be 166 MB.
Any other ideas to try? I'm getting super annoyed with this. From what I can tell they are each only getting one of the .img files and not all of them combined.
