Hi all,
I've just purchased a new 64s and am trying to purchase Birdseye Select for it. I've registered the device with my garmin account, i've connected it to basecamp and updated it to the latest firmware and I've signed in to my garmin account in basecamp too. I open the "download birdseye imagery" dialog in basecamp, then select birdseye select v2 from the list, and it tells me i have no credit. This is what I expected, because I haven't bought any yet. If i then hit the button for shop online, it takes me to the garmin shop web page. Great. I navigate to the birdseye select page, add it to my cart. However, when I come to checkout, it just keeps telling me in a little yellow box at the top of the screen:
"Before we proceed to checkout, we need to make sure you have a device that is compatible with the highlighted items in your basket. Please connect a device now and click "Check Compatibility". Once we confirm it is compatible, we will add the device to your account and continue with checkout. Check Compatibility"
So, I click check compatibility, but it just takes me to the "add product" part of my account page. I can't add my device, because its already added. So i tried removing the device, then following the check compatibility link and adding it again. Once i've added the device it offers me a button to "continue with purchase" but this just takes me to a blank page, before redirecting me to the homepage. I go back to my cart and the above text about checking compatibility is still there. I click the link again and get taken back to the add product page. And the cycle begins again. The behaviour is the same whether the device is connected or not, and i've tried Chrome, Edge and IE all with the same effect.
Anyone experienced this problem? Many thanks!
