Retrieve track data from GPS?

Some years ago I could download track data to BC from my nüvi 1490 - but now I don't find any newer data than some from 2011! :cool:

I try to follow the instructions http://www8.garmin.com/learningcenter/training/basecamp/, but it seems not to work as advertised(?)

I should add that I receive some message(s) concerning Problem-Communicating-With-Device, maybe that's why??

If you enabled the hack I linked to BC won't open those GPX files. You have to manually import them (and remove them from your unit to prevent internal memory from filling).

- I did not, so I could open them via BC as described here.
