The end is nigh for Basecamp Mac users

Had the same and yes, with MacOS 27, Intel bases apps are no longer supported. Please Garmin, update the app to Apple Silicon!!!

I checked some garmin apps on my mac. Not only basecamp but also garmin express, garmin mapmanager etc are intel. So garmin has some work to do, otherwise we cannot use their expensive devices anymore with mac’s after the updates on the mac’s.
