basecamp won't recognise camper 795

Despite following instructions about changing file permissions in in Sonoma 14.2.1 and rebooting basecamp WILL NOT see my new Camper 795, but I have been fine with Express updating all the maps when the machine arrived. I HAVE installed the latest Bascamp version Version 4.8.13 (4.8.13)

Did you shutdown Express completely? On the Mac only one program can access a device via MTP, it blocks other programs. Disable background activity and starting automatically in the settings of Express.
