Garmin BaseCamp Super Slow in M1 Mac Air

On top of very slow to run basecamp, when I connect my 64st, it takes too long to read the GPS and end up hanging up the app... Does Garmin basecamp work on the new MacBook Air?

I'm on a MacBook Pro and have noticed a HUGE decrease in Basecamp performance. The problem became noticeable with the latest round of updates. Who do we need to contact?

I wouldn't know, but I followed instructions from another post and Base Camp is working. go to view and select view 3d map only... it is a work around, but at least I can use it and connect my GPS and transfer files. I hope the same will help you. Cheers.
