BaseCamp doesn't calculate any routes

Unfortunately all the threads I've read don't fix the problem I've got with BaseCamp.

BC Version 4.8.7
Mac OS Catalina 10.15.2
Map: City Navigator Europe NTU 2020.3, Version 23.30, installed on the Mac
GPS: Zümo 390LM

I'm trying to plan a route, but the calculation window only appears so quick, that I even can't read any status message in the window.

The route calculation seems not to work, only straight lines between waypoints or route points as a result.

Any ideas on this issue?

wish I had used the same common sense but thought Garmin would not give advise that would wipe out all my routes!!

If you do Time Machine backups you should be able to recover your routes. If you don't see the routes when you reinstall Basecamp then they have probable gone. Sorry.

Yes - I have same problem - all the suggestions on-line don't seem to work. VERY FRUSTRATING

just go back to map 2020.2 and it works ok until they solve it. Garmin need to sort this out along with the 3D view problem

I no longer have the 2020.2 files - and no response from Garmin either

oh no can you get it back if not is there a way that I can send across to you if allowed or possible. I always keep the last 3 maps on my computer.

many thanks - I've learned a lesson! Don't delete old working maps! I guess I just have to wait on a fix, meantime my Garmin satnavs are pretty redundant. Interestingly, the facility to transfer maps via Garmin Express (map options) now produces an error message and won't do anything.

But this map issue must receive the highest priority. Hopefully the solution will come soon.

agree and then that and the 3D problem not going well for Garmin at present. They also sent me an email asking me to complete a survey on how they are doing, they didn't get very high scores!!!!

Still no sign of a fix or any advice from Garmin - quite poor really
