Can Basecamp be used to upload waypoints (favorites) and routes to the latest generation of Garmin GPS units (i.e. the DriveSmart 51/61 series?) Thanks!
So what is is outcome, can Basecamp be used to create routes/waypoints offline and then downloaded to GPS, namely my new drivesmart 65LMT? Seems inquiries say no, while moderator says yes. I have successfully transferred them to my nuvi 2797 where they show under apps -> trip planner, but doing same to my 65, they show up nowhere. Have created a route on 65 and uploaded it to BaseCamp where the files look identical to those created on BaseCamp, but when making some changes to it on BaseCamp and downloading it back to the device, changes are not there. Totally frustrated. Not much sense in the purchase of a new 65, when my old 2797 provides what I want even better. Hope someone can straighten this out before I return the 65.
