Spotify CIQ App not working correctly

  • I have the same problem, and I have the latest Google Play version of Garmin Connect installed. 

    The workaround does not work in my case. I am happy to share logs with you.

  • Hi , Thank you for sharing your findings, I'm sorry for the frustrating experience getting Spotify set up on your watch. It would be helpful to get the logs from Garmin Connect App on your Android phone so we can investigate if you're willing to share. I have sent you a PM.

    Cannot login to spotify.  get "There was a problem getting you signed in!" error from garmin connect.

    phone: nexus 3 (android)
    watch: fenix 5 plus
    firmware: 11.0 (b5fa0cf)
    garmin connect version: 4.29 (latest available on play store)

  • I was having problems as documented below, but after deleting all playlists, logging out, and re-adding back one playlist, the sync complete successfully EXCEPT it is not syncing all of the songs (misses a few).  I have <400 songs, device is not full.

    What is happening: Spotify Update Songs via WiFi initiates and syncs until ~ 50%, then I get "Sync Failed" error.  I tried deleting all playlists, signing out, signing back in, and syncing one playlist with ~400 songs.  

    What kind of phone: iPhone 8 13.4.1

    Android or iOS: iOS 13.4.1

    What kind of headphones are you using: Plantronics BBFIT3150.  I do not have a problem streaming music from watch to BT Headphones.

    What Garmin Device do you have: Vivoactive 3 Music

    What firmware version do you have on your watch: 5.60

    When was the last time Spotify worked correctly: Don't know.  Possibly with or before firmware 5.50

    Does the problem only happen with a specific Audio File: No

    Are you using a Public Wi-Fi connection: No using home WiFi, no changes since sync has worked.
