Hello. My name is Pablo. I recently purchased the Forerunner 945 and I am trying to connect to Spotify to my iPhone 11 Pro Max and when I try to agree to the terms it gives me an error that “there was a problem getting you signed in”. I have reset my password and signed using the app on my phone and it works but it doesn’t work when I try going through Garmin Connect on my phone. Please help!!!!

I have the same issue with my Garmin Venu! It was all working but Garmin told me to reset due to another issue I was having now (which still isn’t resolved) and now this! Fuming!!!

  • Thank you for trying those steps and letting us know they didn't work. We are aware of the issue with the error message "There was a problem getting you signed in" and we are actively working on a solution.

For the time being, a workaround is to tap "Cancel" and then open Spotify on the watch, after that you should be able to access music through the watch.

Hi, I have the premium spotify on my iPhone with ios 13.4 My vivoactive 4s is connected to my iPhone.

I have connect and connect iq installed.

on my watch when I select music it allows me to select spotify and then comes up with "open garmin connect mobile on your phone to login to spotify.

I login to the screen it displays with my spotify login.

it comes up with a screen which is headed accounts.spotify.com and then has some agreements headed Garmin Connect IQ.

At the bottom of this screen is has a head outline with logged in as Alison and a green agree button

when I press agree it says spotify there was a problem getting you signed in cancel/retry

retry does nothing. The sync button does nothing. The watch is still on the open garmin connect message.

I haven't got to adding earphones yet, there seems little point without spotify

    It has never worked

The phone is up to date with all updates

I am using a private wifi connection and can see updates on my phone and pc from my watch which leads me to believe that that is working.

AFTER TYPING THIS I HAVE TRIED CANCELLING RATHER THAN RETRY AND IT WORKED.

Garmin IQ prompts me to sign in, but when I click Accept terms it states an error has occurred
