VIRB Edit 2.9.2 can be downloaded at http://www.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=6591.

It's a short change history:

  • Restored default template when creating a new video or playing a clip.
  • Fixed export issues caused by running out of memory.

2.9.1 unfortunately had some export/playback issues. This version should fix these, and will hopefully make it much more likely for export to succeed.
  • I am afraid this update introduced a problem with Graphs and maybe gauges showing progress relative to a whole activity in a video. I had made a video consisting of 16 small videos, of a 48 km bike ride, I set up an elevation graph which showed the clip position within the whole distance. After the upgrade to 2.9.2, the graph now shows elevation data from the start of the activity, but the rightmost data of the graph refers to the end of the particular clip, not the whole movie. In each video the position marker reaches the end of the graph. That is, the scale of the horizontal axis changes with every clip, and only the last video shows the whole ride elevation profile.

    same here.
with 2.9.2, only e.g. the elevation graph of the selected clip is displayed and rendered, instead of the elevation graph of all connected clips.

with 2.9.1 it is working fine.

Thanks for the additional piece of information. We should be able to get that fixed in the next version.

    Hi there,

I have updated to last version and did a simple test : a video (3min 39sg) with two small tracks + HR and altitude graph + transition and a title.
    It worked !

The tool is more steady since I updated the laptop's video drivers some time ago.

    Regards
    Jose Luis

there is no windows 10 support?
I had 2.62 running fine it asked me to update to 2.92 and now its uninstalled my old version, and I can't install the new version. Furthermore it is telling me I can't install my old version either. It says its trying to install .NET framework 4.5 but my computer won't allow that because I have a higher version than 4.5 running now.

    any help?

Looks like we didn't update the installer you get when you update from inside VIRB Edit. I'll get that one changed.

Meanwhile, please download 2.9.2 from http://www.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=6591, that one will work on Windows 10. I apologize for the trouble.
