Video and Data not in Sync - GPS Looks OK?

Hi I am a new owner user. First time out yesterday in a warm up for the weekends competition. We sprint and race Caterham's.

On downloading the video and data to VIRB Edit 2.4 it seems that the Data - the speed and Accelerometer info is about 5 seconds ahead of the video and GPS.

I have read about older versions not syncing but this was GPS and video. Its difficult to see exactly but it certainly looks like the GPS moves at the same time as the video but the speed info and accelerometers are way ahead. 5 seconds or so.

Now I have found how to sync the video to position but of course this is correct by my reckoning its only the data?

I am really not sure how this can happen as surely its the GPS that gives the speed so if at standstill on the video and still in the same place on the map does it show me doing 60mph??????????????

Everything else apart from the sound looks fantastic - not sure how the usb mic adapter is going to stand up to being used in the rain?

Any help appreciated.

Looks like you already deleted the file and re-imported it?

    And to cover the basics:

    1. You are running version 2.5.0?
    2. You are creating a new video with that clip, editing the clip, hitting 'Adjust' and aligning the clip with the GPX track?

I am not sure why the software would behave differently for you than for me.

    FALAGAR,

Thank you for your patience. It turned out I wasn't using the latest version of VIRB Edit. I was using 2.4... I'm sorry for that. Strangely, I had older clips that worked flawlessly. Anyway, it seems to work fine now. Two thumbs up!
