When importing the video from the camera into Virb Edit, the mp4 files are nicely copied to the location I have configured. But the GPX and FIT files are not. If I then disconnect the camera and want to edit the video later, I do not have the GPX available. And the camera might be out on other activities or otherwise not available to me. At the moment I need to copy those files over to disk manually myself.
What I would like to see is that when I import the video to my computer, the corresponding GPX and FIT files were also copied over. Preferably into the same file structure as on the SD card. I have noticed that if I mimic that filestructure also on disk, Virb Edit automatically find and use my GPX data when editing, without the need to have the Virb connected or manually adding a GPX track to the clip. So:
Virb recordings directory:
-- DCIM -- subdir-I-have-forgotten-name-of -- mp4/jpg files
-- Garmin -- Activities -- .fit files
-- Garmin -- GPX -- .gpx files
If that filestructure could be automatically created and used under the configured import destination in Virb Edit, and that GPX and FIT files are treated the same as the mp4 files in terms of finding new and copy them over, it would be great. Oh, would also like any JPGs to be copied over with the import as well.
Thanks =)
