export issue

Hi I tried to export a video to a file (1080) and then to youtube using the export feature. Once it reached 100%, I got a similar error message in both cases:
- During export to file:
"There was an error exporting the video"

- During export to youtube:
"Error exporting video for youtube upload"

An idea on how to solve this?

Tks

just purchased a virb elite and tried for first time to generate a mp4 using VE v2.5.1 on win/8.1. Long time windows movie maker app user, so pretty simple transition.

Spent about an hour putting together a video project but export gets stuck at 99.99%. Tried a couple times w/extra waiting, still no luck.

Video project is comprised of 5 master clips with many splits (left and right), custom gauge template which I created from 3 small gauges (elevation, mph and temp), text added to a couple clips, and finally a mp3 audio track was inserted. Most of the clips are running at 4x speed with 0% volume. I would think very straight forward video use case.

    Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

ps, tried removing mp3 track, no luck

I just bought Virb Elite today and recorded my first video. Exporting doesn't work with Windows 8.1 Update :( There was an error exporting the video at 0,00%.

"There was an error exporting the video"

I have successfully Exported videos in the past but after spending a day working on editing some footage, I am at a roadblock. It seems that it is related to file size. My final edit is a 4:46 long time lapse comprised of 7 clips with no overlays or transitions. It has a soundtrack of one continuous track which is the same length as the video. (As an added note I really would like to see some basic audio editing features: fade out transitioning multiple tracks, ect... having the soundtrack just truncate at the end of the video makes it feel very amateurish and cheap) It was shot with the Virb Basic at 30 second intervals. The export default is 1080p, High, 30FPS which gives an estimated file size of 882.6MB. This will consistently get to 6% then give the message "There was an error exporting the video". If I decrease the quality settings it will export a little further (seemingly proportionate to file size), but then still give the same error message. I am using Virb Edit v3.2.0 (the VirbExport logfiles list 3.2.0.8) My PC is running Windows 10 with 436GB of free space on the partition I am using. Intel Duo 3GHz E8400 w/4GB RAM.
