export issue

Hi I tried to export a video to a file (1080) and then to youtube using the export feature. Once it reached 100%, I got a similar error message in both cases:
- During export to file:
"There was an error exporting the video"

- During export to youtube:
"Error exporting video for youtube upload"

An idea on how to solve this?

Tks

I made a cycling video, and replaced the gpx data from my edge 500.

Aligned the gps data with the video, and chosed data overlay showing, watts, speed, cadence. while editing, overlays shows speed, watts and rpm....it was ok. After I exported the video to my PC, the watts data is gone.

    Any suggestions?

I have no Watts data so I can't test it. It would help the programmers if you could tell them if it occurs only with one overlay (if so place a screen shot here) or with all the Watts overlays.

all power data overlays. tried exporting in pc, and exporting in youtube, after exporting power data is gone. But in edit process, it works just fine.

just screen captured it...but quality sucks.

I have ran into an issue when exporting my Virb Elite Video with multiple clips(This happens when exporting normally or exporting to youtube). I have several different clips in my video and when it switches between the clips it looses the gps data for a second at the end of each clip, however this does not happen when viewing the video in Virb Edit. I was wondering if this is a know issues or if this is happening to anyone else? Thanks.

Also the track overlay seems to be messed up during the export also, it seems to have overlapped a couple and they all run on the same overlay.(This also looks correct in virb edit with each clip having its own track).

Here is a video showing my issues I am seeing:
    www.youtube.com/watch

    Garmin Virb Elite (firmware 2.80)
    Windows 7 32bit, 4GB RAM

We found and fixed the following issues:

    1. Power not being exported correctly.
    2. The last 1 second of a clip missing.

They will be addressed with VIRB Edit 2.2.3 which should be released by the end of the year (with the usual "if all goes according to plan" disclaimer).

We are still looking into the track overlay issue you mention. What did you do to make it happen? Just split a clip in two?

We believe we found and fixed this issue for 2.2.3 as well.

Thanks to everyone who reported issues.

    Can not export

My system is Windows 7 Home Premium
    24 gb ram
    Intel(R) core(TM) i7 cpu 960 @3.20 ghz

    Using the Virb elite
I have one video clip I add music.
Then try to export to my system.
Virb Edit just reports an error and cant render/export the video.

Hope someone can figure this out.
Can't use this thing if Edit won't work.

I can render in Photoshop CS6 but then you have no way to see sensors or GPS data no cool dash boards.

    Help

    Export nor import

Besides the exporting issues addressed, I am also finding that the camera will not import into VIRB EDIT now. Took bunch of video, used up two batteries and ended up with close to 12 gig of video. VIRB Elite came on when plugging in USB Cable and then shows the USB symbol and shuts down. Had to remove micro card to upload videos.
Don't know what happened but after posting the above I opened VIRB Edit and everything is working and all I did was check to make sure I had version 2.2.2 installed.

I'm wondering if you're using the latest version.
I've found the following issues with import/export.
2.0 export ok, imports only some resolutions (also decimal devider problem, system settings must be devider . group seperator , even if the country settings require otherwise)
2.1.1 no export of NON-VIRB files (decimal devider issue solved) also no upload as this is done after exporting to a temp file.
2.2.2.0 export of non VIRB files but only the video is exported, sound has to be taken from the video and added as mp3 (or just add music)

    I am using 2.2.2.0.

I sure hope that Garmin can find a fix for this.
No sense in having a GPS enable camera if you can not use the data.

    Thanks

Export issues here as well. I have version 2.2.2. I'm using Windows 7 on my desktop. I don't even get an error from Virb Edit when I try to export. The program simply crashes and I get the Windows box that says "Virb Edit has unexpectedly stopped running. Windows is checking for the problem".

    Looking forward to 2.2.3
