Hello,

Love virb edit. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_uG2ZOy0im2S9FllsaDyTA. But i miss a good track overlay!. The one's you can choose are to little and less information. Bigger and if possible a google maps kind of overlay would be great!!.

I hope the developers read this .
  • Hello Lewis161,

the bad habit that the track is being cut off, if you set the startingpoint, is currently being investigated.
I have submitted a video, which can be used as an example. Looks similar to your´s if you change the startingpoint. And the laptimes are messed up at the beginning of the second lap, if you cut the video.

To relocate the finishline, I´d suggest a second bar, which works like the one with the startingpoint. Would be the easiest thing for us users. Probably not for the developers ;)

One potential 'fix' for the developers to implement - the ability of the user to set a specified 'track width'. Another GPS device I use has this specification as a part of its initial set up routine.

    Hi,

Know if this is still being looked at? I still get the issues with an Ultra 30 on MX tracks
  • Hi everyone,

I´ve been on the track again. After some struggeling with picture in picture (mentioned it in a different thread), I did more than 75 laps, 15 turns á ~20 minutes with two Virb´s. That´s some hours and gigabytes of data :D
The track was Rijeka in Croatia again.

Sadly the finishline is mostly wrong. Cutting the video makes it still worse.
Several times, my best lap is about 30 seconds (My fastest real datarecording is 1:54). All following laps are also wrong then.
Many laps are several minutes long. It misses the finishline, but it seems at the right place.
Sometimes, it even misses the finishline in one lap, but got it in the next.
In cause of that, the lap counter is wrong.
2-3 times the GPS did nothing for a whole lap. No speed, no location on the map, nothing.

Grade doesn´t work properly on a motorbike. It is always 0-2. But as I´ve seen pitching and roll (I hope this are the correct translations) work much better in my other videos. This time, I don´t have any of these values

If necessary, I can provide you all the data.
