    Date - time format

In this new version the date and time format for overlays are changed from [dd/mm/yyyy 24:00] to [mm/dd/yyyy 12:00 am/pm].
I was happy with the first format (I live in the Netherlands).
So I hope it will switched back in the next version or maybe as an option to choose the format.

Glad to see I'm not the only person irritated by this. Being British its not the default date format. Please don't alienate your European customers Garmin.

  • I was happy to find that the 4Gb file limit was lifted for Windows 7 in the latest versions.

Thank you very much, this was indeed very critical.

However, now trying to encode my videos on the machine I was supposed to do it in the first place, a Windows 7 PC, I am having a error when my video reaches 48%..
I tried pretty much everything I can think of, including re installation of Windows, but finally, realized one critical thing:
There is a new file size limit, this time it's not 4Gb but 11Gb!!
It's alot better yes, but I usually do 3 to 5 hours rides, I record the entire thing and in the end... I still cant render this due to the file size limitations.
If i accelerate the video or reduce quality to stay bellow the 11Gb, works fine but it's bad image quality and video is too fast, doing it with the proper parameters, once it bumps into the 11Gb file size, Virb says "unknown error" and stops.

Please remove this limit .. Altho it's alot better the old 4Gb limit, it's stupid to have any kind of limit at all .. :(

    Works now

We've fixed the graph export for PNGs, will be in 3.4.

Thanks a lot! It really does work now, so there is no need any more to seperately fiddle with said workaround concerning sequences of PNG files. Great!

(Just to note one observation: Even with switched off PNG export, Virb Edit creates a folder for PNG sequences. I accidentally stumbled upon this behaviour because I set the Desktop as the location for that folder.)

Thanks for the observation, we should be able to get that corrected.

And I appreciate the feedback on graph PNG export, I'm glad it's working.
