best computer for spin bicycle; doesn't have cadence or speed, buying Garmin sensors for cadence and speed, and would like a Garmin display, but don't need GPS, since it's in the basement

Bought a sort of bare bones stationary bicycle, and to monitor cadence and "distance" buying Garmin cadence and speed monitors.

Anyone have any suggestions for what computer will fill these functions, without needing GPS, messaging, crash detection, etc. which we don't need in our basement?

I have the Connect IQ downloaded app, Spin Tracker, and it seems a good start point, with HR showing up well. I think cadence will show up on my Forerunner 235, but would like a handlebar mounted, bigger display, so my wife can use the bike without needing to use my watch. So a basic bike computer seems the best.

Also, anyone have suggestions on mounting the speed sensor to the bike?
