TDA 4.61.1.50316. HUD issues

On top left panel in the HUD, the Calorie count field is too large once it reaches 4 figures (1000+) and overlaps with the "Cal" text. Either use a smaller font or shift the text around to create more space.

The ETA is usually shown in the second panel on the left but is not available when doing a recognised climb. The previous version showed ETA under the progress bar at the bottom of the screen. Consider restoring this.

Also in this panel, the AVG gradient remaining shoes + or - values until the total climb remaining equals zero, at which point it will no longer show a negative average gradient.

The ETA is there for the climbs(Widget) Then shows for full ride on completing the climbs (Remaining Training Widget)

Not all users want to see the ETA in large numbers below the middle of the profile in the progress bar. I prefer this in small numbers to look at occasionally during rides in one of the widgets.

A few years back the numbers in the progress bar were above the profile. This resulted in the profile been at bottom of screen and larger video picture.

  • Fine, but for those of us who want the ETA to be available all of the time there still needs to be a change made.

  • Fix feedback to show ETA Full ride from start to finish (climbs included)

ETA Full Course under ETA for Climb when the Climb Widgets start up on screen.

  • Hi,
Are you sure you have enabled the ETA setting from the settings menu? According to our tests, ETA still shows up in the build 4.61.1.50316.
However, at the moment we are evaluating our climb widget. Currently ETA is calculated based on power output and speed (speed is used to calculate air resistance based on your bike profile), which is not consistent. This results into a rather vague estimation, because if you slow down your ETA will rapidly increase. To conclude, feedback we have received is that either some people like it and that some people are confused about it. We will take your feedback into consideration for our new design and see what fits best.

  • ETA is calculated only for the COM, when you are riding to the COM.
Also, TDA does not see the downloaded files

  • I have ETA enabled. It shows up OK until the Climb Widget appears, then it can't be seen - only the ETA for the climb is visible.

The previous HUD layout had the ride ETA under the progress bar at the bottom of the screen, so was always visible, whether in a climb or not.

I understand that some people don't like the ETA information (and, yes, it's a bit "variable") but perhaps it should be a user option to display it in the previous location?

  • ETA Full Course under ETA for Climb when the Climb Widgets start up on screen.

Any fix for the Full Course ETA like this , so it stays in the Remaining Training Widget and will avoid ETA been in your face throughout the ride( large numbers in the progress bar)
