Group ride - invalid link

Did my first group ride today - alone ;-)
Anyway - from what I see the invitation link is only valid as long as the organizer has the ride ready for joining?
If I closed TDA I got a message that the link was invalid. In this way you cannot invite some days or hours before the ride and close the program and PC in the meantime?

The way around that would be to announce the date and time (and course) of the groupride, but share the actual link only a few minutes before the ride starts.

I also rode one today, also alone... I am curious what the in-ride experience will be. It did not look any different than a normal ride.I am not sure what to expect (other than seeing Zwift users get crazy speeds for their watts when they ride in large packs), but I also guess this will have to be developed over time.

Good to hear that you did your first GroupRide! Hopefully it will be together with someone else soon ;)

The invitation link does not become invalid, so you can invite someone weeks before you are planning on doing the ride. So you can safely close the app after creating an GroupRide.

Usually this error occurs when there is something missing in the copied URL. Could that perhaps be the case?

Did try again recently and then it was working. So I guess everything is fine.
