Film Testing - Autumn 2025

The Morvan stages seem to be now tested, still awaiting the new feature. Apparently, it works!

I'm busy now making some films from the remaining Thailand footage. These will have to be tested asap if they show up, as tacx wants these out now in November, just when everyone heads inside to see what new content we have.

In the meantime, I'm publishing some of the hopefully amazing rides filmed this summer, which will not be released this winter, so no rush. At least there will be something new while you wait.

We have a newer 2025 version to test at some point, at least the top part (Achill Islands) will be going out fairly soon, after its all working! The bottom part is partly made, but might be reformed into just a selection of individual rides for the reserve. Then there is also Dingle & the Gap of Dunloe rides.

Yes, I also saw it last night that one of the developers had been able to publish a random ride without the bug, so I figured it was now working again. Looks like it is! Will re-publish the other stages & the Thailand rides

Hmm, looking at this image, Finestre 3 is listed twice. Please do not ride Finestre 3 v7, it will have no KOM or gravel feeling...Sorry Peter lol just seen your busy on it

Great! then it might be a great time for me to cycle the oldies. The new Gap of Dunloe was a reason for me to start looking in that corner of the world :)

I was about to type some feedback of the ride here. It might already be fixed in a new release then?
Apart from the missing KOM and road feeling:
- This (downloaded) video is choppy/stuttering on my pc. This is especially noticeable when cornering. For example the first corner 500m in the video. It feels like the framerate has been reduced or something. First I thought it was my PC. But I redid the first kilometer twice after rebooting. I still experienced this issue. Two other rides were smooth. Can someone verify this?
- Gradient issue at around 23,40km. Sudden drop of resistance. Felt really bad and out of place. Maybe it can be smoothened out a bit?

The gradient issue at the end & stutters that were with them are fixed in the other version. I’ve now renamed the one you did to “Delete” as I can’t delete bad projects from my side. Will check out the corner stutters, that happens when the filming speed is a lot slower then your speed (anywhere there is breaking on a descent) .

Just did Mongenevre.. really nice ride.. the only minor thing I noted was that at about 23.2km in there appears to be a joining point of the videos, and the grade has a tiny sliver of 3% when it was 6% or so either side... This elevation profile on the main profile must be an error in the new version.. its defaulting to 0 / 100 regardless of altitude, but shows correctly on pre ride screen and in the side widget...

TDM - 50% / RFI - 100%. BT. Morning's weight is 64,8 kg. Average power - 1,88 W/kg.

All looks good!
3.25 km – a good cyclist was ahead.
13.99 km – why did Phil slow down on the climb?

cheers found V3 has the grade fix. The Alt bug is something with the App Beta

Not sure, but normally a slowdown means I'm looking to save some battery power. It was a big day to film.
