Resume Training from Dashboard

TDA Beta. 4.70.1.0

Resume Training from Dashboard has Widgets working but no video picture (black screen)

I have been using this feature to continue rides in parts.(Downloaded videos)

Highland 1(Scotland) After 2 sessions Resume Training had black video screen.
Redownload/ Restarted this film and 2nd session had black video screen.

A test on l’Alpe d’Huez Decent. No issues with Start to halfway. Then black video picture on Resume Training from Dashboard.

If use TTA Beta then Resume Training from Dashboard has video picture.

I had this a couple of days ago but was also getting a message about not being able to see other riders. I therefore assumed it was some sort of network glitch. The video appeared after a couple of minutes of riding and was then ok until I finished the ride.

Black screen with widgets for 10 minutes to end of ride (2nd half of l’Alpe d’Huez Decent)

Also seeing a number of on screen crashes with nothing working. Have to use Task Manager to end TDA.

Resume Training or start any film sub course is resulting in black video with Widgets on screen.

Start any of these films from beginning and picture shows behind warm up box and plays when cycling.

I get it every time. Been like this for a week or so. I am running 4.71.1.0. (Updated on 2/7/25). However I think it may have started doing this before then. Last time I successfully did a continuation ride was 27th June

Resume Training - Black screen with widgets.

New ride crashes on screen at 4km.

Close TDA with Task Manager.

Restart TDA - The crashed film now has ride in progress Box.

TDA freeze on screen again (nothing working including x to close the App)

Having exactly the same problem since 13/06/25. When I downloaded Windows cumulative update KB5063060 on my Windows 11 computer. Tried uninstalling update no change, re installed garmin express, garmin connect, garmin desktop training app all with no change, anybody else out there found a solution?

Issue fixed now. Software automatically updated this morning (17 Jul). Successfully resumed a ride with full video that I had part completed a few days ago. Software version on my desktop app is now 4.7.1.2.0 last update 15 Jul 25

I am not getting any Auto update to TDA Beta. There is no update showing on opening TDA. If open TDA from Microsoft store it is still on 4.70.20. Emails from Beta for TTA but not TDA (Last update for TDA Beta 17/6/2025) A test had black screen with widgets on resume training. Can someone tell me how these future updates work ?

When I switched on my pc this morning and selected the tacx app a bar appeared at the lower part of the screen as tacx was getting going and offered me an update. All I did was select the 'yes' option and it updated.
