Ascent sometimes double on rides with Desktop App - 4.60.2.48297

Ascent doubled on rides with Desktop App - 4.60.2.48297
Rode Awaji Island on 22 Sept and Cantal - Salers on 18 Sept. Ascent reported in my Garmin Connect account shows ascent doubled to 634m (Awaji) and 1836m (Cantal Salers). Other rides completed since update to latest version seem OK so this latest version is not consistently showing this doubling.

Happy to do this but not sure how to generate the fit file. Can you let me know how to do it.

when you open the last 2 rides in the Garmin connect you should be able to get the fit file on that page.

Its a bit hidden in Connect for some reason, you hit the cogwheel at the top right if looking at the activity, then select 'export file'. You then get a .zip folder with the activity inside as a .fit file. If anyone involved with Connect reads this,perhaps replace the word 'file' with .fit as is the case with export to .tcx .gpx etc

Ah found it. Surprised I did not get this earlier as its in quite a logical place.

Anyway I have just downloaded the 2 fit files and emailed with URL as requested above.
