Route name

When I finish a training session the activity uploads to Strava but has no name, just ‘Morning Ride’ as opposed to ‘L’Alpe d’Huez’, or wherever the route was. How do I change things so the activity appears on Strava with the correct description?

You don't..only option at present is copy name from GarminConnect then paste into Strava

Thanks, that works, shame there’s no automatic way to do it.

I copy/paste name/ride details from GC and add a few screenshots. In the past before uploads to GC the rides did upload to Strava with name and ride details, even for a while an auto upload of the film screenshot.Anyway it only takes a minute to add the details from GC to Strava.

Yes, that’ll have to do. I’ve made a recommendation to Garmin to change the way activities upload to Strava.

YEP!! we have all done that when it changed and stopped uploading ride name and video picture... believe it is to do with cost ie: strava wants a fee, Tacx/Garmin don't wish pay one...
