Loading Movies and performance issues in Beta TDA

The loading of the movies in the beta version is very slow. It looks like that only a few movies are available and it takes time to get the possibility to scroll down through the list. When its possible to scroll down, the "loading wheel" spins for minutes get show more movies.

Also when selecting a movie, it take minute(s) to start the ride. After starting the ride, the "loading wheel" spins for 2-4minutes and finally the ride will start only without showing the movie (black screen).

Are there any issues with "servers" why my beta version is so extreme slow?

FYI1: the live version is working okay not as fast as the TTA.

FYI2: internet speed is about 300MBit/s download (upload is higher)

Ditto, regards scrolling few months ago the development team said some form of caching would be put in so once had scrolled list it would all remain without need to have ordeal of the wait between next lot loading

Mine is also slow. Not minutes as in your case, but noticeably slower than the production version.

Same here - but it's more like 5 minutes - think some of that is Australia's poor NBN solution. Latency is also very high

Want to setup a group ride, loading gps; movie; work out, takes to long time and create above error. Still performance in beta TDA is not fixed, no problem to use beta TTA.

Do you have this all, both on the Grouprides as well as on when just starting a ride the normal way?

Both, the whole startup of beta TDA is slower as the live TDA, while the (beta) TTA is very fast.

This is is a last chance saloon type thing to look at, but today i had to update Beta TDA to the latest one after a fairly long period of not updating, I noticed directly that everything took ages to load. I had another issue to solve so uninstalled the entire app, restarted the PC & then installed a fresh copy of TDA...everything loaded directly like it should. Doing this might work for you if you have not tried already?

Hi Phil, Thanks for the suggestion! I already did several re-install but it didn't work. Now also remove; restart PC; install -> no difference
