I completed an indoor ride today and on some steep downhill sections there was a lot of buffering of the video. On the long, uphill sections I didn't see any issues.

I had a similar thing happening but even on the uphill and flat sections.
Hi Brandon Cain and t_smit can you please provide some additional information?
What device(s), what video and what connection?
2019 macbook pro, one of the Flanders videos (screenshot in my other post) and either a 2.4 or 5GHz wifi connection to the router about 3 meters away.
2017 MacBook Pro. I was riding the 1521v2 Trans Ardennes 1 video. The computer was connected WiFi to the GarminGuest WiFi network. I believe that is a 2.4GHz network. Speed tests on that network consistently show well over 50 Mbps. I just ran another and saw 87.2 Mbps down and 60.6 Mpbs up.
I was using the Neo Bike trainer. I'll see if I can use my Neo 2T at home sometime this week and reride the same course there. I won't be able to do so today. My bike is in the office. I drove my car today and don't have a way to haul my bike back home.
find when streaming that with speeds being so high downhill + 50/60kph that buffering occurs with Windows sometimes also even cable connected also Android App wifi does this
