4.13.3 App freezes at regular interval

Thanks for the report. Did this happen once, or can you reproduce it?

I reproduced the lockups again this evening. This was again during a structured ride. Some interesting observations:

• Lockups started about 8 minutes in
• UI Is unresponsive during a lockup, cant go into menu, etc.
• Pauses get longer and more frequent throughout the ride
• If the app is locked up when transitioning from one interval to another, the chimes/sounds happen which suggests the UI thread is hung up but not all threads are hung up
• Metrics are recorded flat during the pauses
• If the app is locked up when transitioning from one interval to another, the app does not adjust the trainer target which suggests more than the UI thread is locked up
• The lock ups persist post ride. If I keep clicking on menu options after several clicks it will lock up so the issue is not limited to when you are riding
• Activity Monitor shows very low CPU when locked up post ride (< 1 %)
• Activity Monitor shows low memory utilization when locked up post ride (152 MB)

There are actually records written during the freezes, but the values are not updated.

Did a video ride today, same version as last week, freezes started pretty much right from the beginning.

Thanks for doing another ride Kevin. Sorry to hear you encountered the issue again.

I'm trying to figure out the origin of the problem. If you have the time, could you maybe see if the issue also occurs when you connect the Simulator Box?
