Vivosport activity folder empty

My wife's Vivosport has an activity saved on it from this afternoon in the folder section on the device itself.  The activity did not sync to Garmin Connect, although steps HR etc for it did.  She does not usually wear the device and I thought i'd try it out with our son in the garden.

I have done another short activity to test.  While this uploaded fine to Garmin Connect as expected, the activities folder when viewed via the laptop is empty, on my Fenix watch and Edge 510 this folder would list all my activities that are saved on the device.

Can anyone tell me where these activities stored on the device are being hidden in the laptop folder menu?

    I have the same problem, I did 3 activities this morning and the folder is empty when I plug it in to my laptop.  But they show up in my watch when I look at the folder.

    I am having the same problem.  The walk that I did this morning did not sync and the Activities folder is empty.  The Vivosport says it saved the activity, but is there a way to view the stats on the Vivosport after they are saved?  I just got off Chat with Garmin and they said the Vivosport didn't save the Activity if the folder is empty but I know that it did.  I'm glad I'm not the only one!
