Best Practices Cycling: Vivosport + Edge 520

I cycle with an Edge 520 + heart monitor. I just bought a Vivosport (for the rest of my activities). Both are connected to the same Garmin Connect and Strava accounts. What are best practices with 2 Garmin devices? Should I wear the Vivosport cycling while simultaneously using the Edge 520? Should I start a cycling activity on the Vivosport? I want "credit" for the activity toward my goals in Connect once (not twice, or not missing elements of goals in Connect because I didn't start or wear the Vivosport while cycling). Does anyone have "best practices" tips?

I wouldn't do anything with the vivosport. Your chest HRM will always be better for cycling, so wear the watch or not doesn't matter, just record the cycling with your edge and sync that. Don't start an activity in your vivosport to avoid duplication.
