Bulge on the strap of vivo smart 4 bursted, what should I do?

I got my vivo smart 4 as a gift and have been wearing it for over a year. It developed a bulge on the strap a few months ago which I ignored. However, it burst today and let out an oily substance.

I quickly washed my hands and cleaned the excess from the strap.

What should I do now?
