turn off auto screen

My first Vivosmart 4 (bought Oct 2 2018) the screen does not auto-on when I tilt my wrist. I have to double tap to wake it up. I prefer this. I just got a 2nd one and the screen keeps coming on every time I move my arm, I realize it is supposed to. Can I turn this off?

Hello! You can open the Garmin app then go to the device settings. Select Appearances and disable the Gesture feature.

There is no setting for Gesture on Garmin connect app

Open the Garmin Connect App > Open the side menu > Select Garmin Devices > Select vivosmart 4 > Select Appearance > Select Display Options > Select Gesture. This can be found in the owner's manual. If these steps do not work for you please contact your local Product Support team.
