Move IQ cycling

Hey all - I bike to and from work every day. It takes about 10-12 minutes but it never gets picked up by the VS4 as a move IQ event (but google fit captures these events every day!). Anyone have any idea what's up?

My commute is 20 minutes and it doesn't pick it up as an exercise, however if I go to check my body battery graph, it shows cycling events there. I don't know what the logic is when it shows the proper exercise and when it doesnt. My Vivosmart also does not buzz or notify me that it has started a cycling event.

MoveIq can only start a run or walk activity. I also recommend to start manually anyway, because MoveIq doesn't use gps and doesn't capture the full activity depending on the threshold values you have set.

Interesting. Yeah, my rides don't show up on the graph unless I start the activity manually.

yeah, that's what I've been doing

and good point regarding GPS
