Both my wife and I suddenly noticed a ‘blister’ on our vivosmart 4 watches. It is located just above the display opposite to the charging contacts.
Are more users experiencing this? The watch seems to work ok still.

I contacted them and they are replacing my device. I was told to stop using or charging it just to prevent any accidents.
I have had this for a few months didnt think anything of it as it didnt heat up or anything , until today when after charging it burst when tapped it . It was a gold syrup like substance that came out . Needless to say I have washed hands incase its linked to battery . Sadly mines is just out of warranty too
I don't think heat is a factor, in mine happened during winter, heating was set at 18 C.
Mine had a bubble too and it leaked from where the silicone meets the hard plastic case so it's gone for now. Consistency of golden syrup, no smell. Device still holds charge and works Well (other than the bezel dropping off 3 months ago). Unfortunately it is out of warranty so it may be the end of a AU$200 device after 15 months. Will I be buying another Garmin? Not really the quality I was expecting...
