Pulse ox not showing up in activity tracking settings

I would like to activate the pulse ox readings while sleeping, but the option doesn't show up in my menus at all. Like when I go to the activity tracking settings pulse ox just isn't listed at the top as it should be. 

I just got it today and haven't slept yet. Could this be the reason?

    Same here. I read the manual online, and watched the tutorial video on YouTube. The option just isn't there on my phone (Garmin Connect 4.19.1 - Android 9). I looked everywhere. I even tried setting my sleep hours at midnight to 4:00 AM so it would match the supposed 4 hour limitation of the SpO2 recorder. Another post had suggested this, but it didn't make the setting appear. This feature is one of the main reasons I bought the VivoSmart 4 over any other device, so I'm feeling kinda bait-and-switched.

    Has anyone had any luck with this? I'm also a new owner, and bought it because of this feature.

    I fixed it myself, removed the device then uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

    I could not find it on the Android app but when I logged into Garmin Connect on my computer I could see a greyed out slider after I selected the vivosmart 4 device and then the activity tracking heading.

    When I tried to change it I got a popup that said I had to set the vivosmart 4 as my preferred tracker.

    I only want to use it at night as I use a Fenix 5 during the day (too big for sleeping).

    I have the Fenix 5 set as preferred.

     I just uninstalled the device then imediately reinstalled and the option appeared.

    Mine was having the same issue and after REMOVING the device from the app it became an activity tracking option again. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app alone didn't work. I had also previously done a factory reset on the tracker which didn't help

    It does not appear for me as well. I've removed the app, restarted my android phone, then reinstalled, and it still does not appear. I guess, next, I'll try the other suggestion, to remove the device first, then uninstall the app, and reinstall.
