Why isn’t there an option to put my IQ detected activities into my daily activity minutes? Whats the point of having it detect them if it doesn’t count them as part of my goal?
Intensity minutes (if that's what you mean by activity minutes) are independent of any actual activity, either timed or IQ-detected, and rely only on your heart rate. Your heart rate needs to exceed a certain level for a prolonged time in order to accumulate intensity minutes.
Yes that was what I meant. It was a walk I took and I accidentally tapped on delete on the tracker instead of save but it had auto saved it with the IQ function so I thought I’d be able to transfer/save it but could not. My heart rate would have been considered moderate intensity had I not deleted it so it seems like I should be able to save the IQ intensity minutes towards my overall goal..
I doesn't matter if you save or delete the activity, or if it is detected by MoveIQ or not. Your heart rate data is there no matter what, and that is all that is needed to detect intensity minutes, given that your heart rate was elevated for at least 10 minutes. If you didn't get any intensity minutes, then it means that either your heart rate was not high enough, or some of your cardiological metrics (resting hr or hr zones) are set incorrectly.
