Vivosmart 4 stopped tracking advanced sleep

After owning my Vivosmart 4 for 3 months it suddenly stopped tracking rem sleep starting about 5 days ago and failing every day now. I'm getting the warning inside the app that my device didn't track advanced sleep. Nothing has changed in how I wear the device. What can I do to restore advanced sleep tracking?

    Was there ever a resolution on this? Mine just stopped tracking REM sleep too and I've owned it for just about 4 months.  No warnings in the app.

  • Mine too. Are you using IOS ? After 14.01 update , it stopped tracking. Garmin please help 

  • Hello! Can you plug the device into the computer and sync with Garmin Express. Then can you double check the following:

    Your birth date is set.

    Are you wearing the device 2 hours before bed time?

    Is the app up to date?

    The Heart rate monitor is enabled.

    Bed time and wake times are set correctly.

    After these steps, can you remove the device from the Garmin Connect app then pair the device back.
