Garmin. What is going on with your feature 'strategy' it doesn't make user sense at all. You aren't Apple.

They also need a clock face with smaller time font and at least couple of letters of the date. I added some 10/10 great new faces made on paint

Probably because it would kill your battery. Even on my Fenix 5S the heart rate doesn't display in real time constantly (I'm talking about during non-exercise times) otherwise it would be updating every second and the battery would be dead before you know it.

I don't think it would affect the battery at all because your pulse is constantly being read anyway and would only appear on your home screen when you raise your arm to turn the screen on. My point still stands
  • 2 years later this is still unresolved.

The heart rate widget cannot be set as default, and won’t stay on even if you use the “last displayed” setting for home widget.

And there is no watch face to include this information - I mean if it showed small clock with a daily average heart rate, it would still be more useful than 5/6 of the current watch faces. I don’t want to see weather on my Home Screen, show me heart rate or the body battery at least.

  • You are 100% correct, less functional screen than a 25 year old polar watch. I’ve given up on my vivo smart after trying to keep an eye on my hr while cycling… the single reason to purchase the device (Heart rate) doesn’t work unless you flip through the menu!! The software updated also but no fix for the hr screen fail.

  • mine does it if you leave it on heart rate broadcasting, but you can kiss that 7-day battery goodbye

  • This was going to be the replacement for my 3 year old vivosport, but luckily i found the thread and have decide to stick it out.

Leaving alone the fact that vivosport is no longer available and there is no real successor for now, the one tracker that i thought i could get as a stop gap while i wait for a vivosport 2 has turned out to be too much of a compromise.

Commom Garmin, i really want to stick to your ecosystem, but youre not making it easy for me.
