My Vivosmart 4 shows the correct time, and my connect account online shows the correct time zone. But, my steps restart at zero at 6PM, and the sleep hours measured are correct but the bed time and wakeup time are several hours off in the connect app and online. I've tried factory resetting the Vivosmart 4, deleting the connect app and reinstalling, and deleting/restarting my connect account online, but nothing resolves the problem. Coming from an Vivofit HR, where nothing was a problem, but that device died a few weeks ago, and has been deleted from my connect account. Any ideas to resolve? Anybody else have these problems?
Firmware 2.6 corrected these problems, but I already made the decision to return it as putting up with these flaws made me look for something else. I will be fitness tracker free for a couple of weeks but will be ordering a Versa on Costco's online Black Friday sale when it is $139.99 (regular price is 189 plus 50 off). Sadly I no longer own a single Garmin product after so many years of swearing by them.
My wife's vivosmart 4 is doing the same thing. Came to the forums hoping to find a solution. But nothing so far. Her watch has v2.6 installed so, that didn't fix it either.
Make sure your time zones are correct in the device settings and also your profile's display settings on the web. Also, your devices should be set to automatically get the time rather than manual.
I came to the VivoSmart from the Versa. I went through 3 Versa's within a few months. Either the battery stopped holding a charge more than a few hours, or the device just died. I think the VivoSmart if far superior. Please take a look at the Versa support forums before purchasing. They're inundated with angry users...
